Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy SM
Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy SM
is a highly effective noninvasive healing technique for muscular
related pain.
If you suffer from pain you have trigger points in your muscles.
Trigger points are highly irritable spots that remain in a
muscle after it has been damaged.
Excess physical and/or emotional stress can cause trigger
points to activate, putting muscles into spasm.
Spasm causes pain, limited range of motion, nervous symptoms,
inflammation and swelling. That damage can come from birth,
sports injuries, accidents, disease and or occupation.
Myotherapists erase pain and spasm by applying pressure
to a client's muscles.
By pressing on the appropriate trigger points the muscles
relax and pain is reduced or eliminated.
The Myotherapist can then passively stretch the affected
muscles.
Clients reeducate the affected muscles to return to their
normal relaxed state with special exercises designed for each
individuals problem.
